Serendipity: "Finding Valuable or Agreeable Things Not Sought For"

Serendipity is an annual exhibit of artwork created by participants in Art Services classes at Mississippi State Hospital.  The exhibit offers the public an opportunity to view the artist's creative expression and gives the artist an unparalleled sense of accomplishment as they see their work on display.  Works in the exhibit are available by silent auction to the public at myminiauction.com/serendipity or at the in-person show on the first Thursday in September.  All proceeds benefit the artist.

To learn more about the history of Serendipity and the art program of Mississippi State Hospital, read this brochure.

Also, be sure to visit the Mississippi Museum of Art's What Became of Dr. Smith exhibit, from now until September 24th.
